1. Information We Collect
Agent7 operates entirely on your local machine. We do NOT collect:
- Email content or metadata
- Personal identifiable information
- Authentication credentials
- Usage analytics or tracking data
2. Data Storage
All data processing happens locally on your device:
- OAuth Tokens: Stored locally in your home directory
- Email Data: Accessed in real-time via Gmail API, never cached permanently
- Configuration: Stored in your MCP client settings
3. Third-Party Services
Agent7 interacts with the following third-party services:
- Google Gmail API: For reading and managing your emails. All communication is encrypted via HTTPS.
- Your AI Client: The MCP client you use (Claude Desktop, Cursor, etc.) processes your requests locally.
4. Data Security
We implement security best practices:
- OAuth tokens are stored with restricted file permissions
- All API communication uses TLS encryption
- No data is transmitted to third-party servers
- Credentials are never logged or exposed
5. Your Rights
You have complete control over your data:
- Access: All data is accessible on your local machine
- Deletion: Delete tokens by removing
~/.gmail-mcp/directory - Revocation: Revoke access anytime via Google Account settings
6. Children's Privacy
Gmail MCP is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
